General Electric SteelBeam Fluorescent Lantern: dependable and rugged enough for indoor and outdoor use.
It features a durable plastic housing, a high impact plastic diffuser, and a comfortable carrying handle. The 4-D model's power source are four "D" cell batteries (not included) with the light source being one 6 watt fluorescent U-tube. The lanterns are weather resistant. Of course, with no open flame or fuel to deal with, they are very safe alternatives to kerosene lighting. Comes in green or red. We will send whichever is available.
